  • Night It Up has been a staple event for me in the summer for many years, as it brings back memories and gives me the chance at some delicious food. However, it has gotten way to crazy and busy over the years, that I'm starting to find that it isn't worth it. The event itself is quite awesome, stalls for food, games, and little toys/trinkets, along with a huge area for a volleyball tournament. There is also a stage for performances, but they are really not that good. This year when I went, it was more packed than any other year I had been. They had all my favs like the stinky tofu and takoyaki, but it wasn't quite worth the wait. Everything took more than 20min waiting in line at the minimum. There were a couple things that we ended up just giving up and going elsewhere. As fun as it has been for me over the years, I gotta say this will probably be my last year. It isn't really worth it when you have to wait in line for everything, and get knocked around constantly by people trying to get through/around. It was fun when I was younger, but no more. I will just go to the respective stores for something I want in the future.
