  • I reluctantly write this review because the folks that work at Rohrich from my past experiences are top notch and highly friendly and courteous but I simply must share this experience. I have a 2011 Cadillac SRX that is now out of warranty. ( 78k miles) The headlight burned out on my car, so I went to Valvoline Instant Oil first as they do bulb replacement and I needed my oil and wipers changed anyway, so i figured I would get it all done at once. After getting there they said they had the bulb in stock but that too much was required to change it and that I needed to go to the dealership. This struck me as odd , but little did i know then what I know now. So I made a 1PM appt to have this simple thing done. I just got home and it is 4PM. After waiting for 30 minutes they told me that the headlight assembly needed replaced because it was somehow getting moisture in it. The part alone was quoted at $1348.00 PLUS $112 for the bulb and $116 an hour for labor. ( Let me add that I just had my power steering pump replace a few months back there and parts and labor was $600 - They did a great job but i want to had that fact for some perspective, we are now talking about a burned out headlight!) So I said , I am not going to do the assembly now ( obviously) , can you just replace the bulb? They said yes but they couldn't guarantee it would last. After waiting an additional 2 hours they came back and said that the bulb wouldn't fit into the old socket so they were going to put the whole thing back together again. Meanwhile while sitting in the waiting room looking on my iPad I found at least 30 NEW headlight assemblies ranging in price from $150-$195 and the bulb was $7.25 at Advance Auto. After waiting 3 plus hours for a headlight bulb replacement I was presented with a bill for $161 for labor and the fricking light is STILL OUT!!!!! I understand there was labor involved ( surprisingly to change a headlight bulb you need to remove the entire bumper ) but come on! Guys at Rohrich , I'm sorry, you've always been great to me but this is more than just a little ridiculous to say the least!
