Thank you Yelp! If not for you and the ROTD from Alexis, I would not have bookmarked Sleepy Poet and ended up there this past Saturday!
This place is my Jam! Say what? "My Jam, Jam!" "Up my Alley" "Suits me to a T" "You know what I mean, Jelly Bean?"
Not only is the size of this place impressive, but the selection and variety really make this place fantastic. Some antique malls have loads of useless crap you have to wade through. Not Sleepy Poet, it's like someone put a filter on the doorway that doesn't allow junk to enter.
There were some truly amazing Farm House pieces that rival furniture you'd see at Pottery Barn.
I could easily spend three or four hours in here. There's so much to see, pick up, inspect and imagine in your living space. The booth were well spaced, not too crowded and the aisles are wide. It looks like the owners hold booth renters to high standards; nothing felt cluttered or had a "yard sale" feel to it, but the opposite, well displayed and organized.
I purchased a lovely signed and framed print from 1964. The vendor had it marked on sale from $89 to $64. Very happy with my purchase. I plan on returning soon and already have my eye on some other artwork!
