  • Look out all you fro-yo lovers!!! There's a new brand in town...Menchies!! (: This neighborhood treat is literally a 5 min walk from me and JUST OPENED yesterday! yay. I've been always wondering what Menchies was all about and what were they going to bring to the competitive yogurt franchises all over the world. At first glance entering Menchies, you can definitely see that the atmosphere shows FUN & VIBRANT! with the modern decor, colors, separate party room for any type of event, a large chalk board to write on for kicks, friendly work staff, and even their very own Menchies "Character" (cute pacman eyes, lil smile, and a colorful swirl for the head/hair). I like that they sell cute gifts and nicknacks for Menchies because its too cute to resist :P Going to the yogurt... one thing that stands out here compared to other yogurt spots I've been to is the fact that they offer a WAFFLE BOWL!! mmm...the smell of the fresh batch of waffle aroma! what a cool and fun twist to have with your yogurt! (kind of reminds me of cold stone, but a lot healthier). Highlights*** - this place has different yogurt flavors not offered in other fro-yo places. - there is a vast amount of toppings to choose from ANNND (this part I'm happy about) is the fact that the toppings is super convenient to grab yourself! you know how some places like yogurtland and u-swirl, theres a window so low that it interferes/blocks you which you'd have to really extend your arms just to reach for the back row! sucks for people who are tall or big!! damn LOL. Well good thinking on Menchies part for making this experience quick n' easy! just like candy stores. cool points! My yogurt concotion: was feelin fruity ; ) Yogurt - island banana & mango sorbet Toppings - strawberries, kiwis, granola and a cherry on top And of course in a waffle bowl! 39cents p/oz, $1.00 more w/waffle Overall, the taste and experience was pleasant. This is going to be me and my girlfriends new fro-yo spot after the gym! lol!
