  • The Runnymede Dental Centre is located inside the Runnymede hospital and is designed with elderly patients in mind. Although I was only there for a simple teeth cleaning which was done by a skilled and highly personable dental hygienist named Anne McConvey, I could see the facility was incredibly well equipped for care of the elderly, disabled and other hospital patients. This dental clinic is specially outfitted with hoists and slings which can move even the most severely mobility-challenged patients from their wheelchairs and up into reclining dental chairs. Runnymede Dental Centre operatories are twice as wide as usual, have more lights overhead, and contain even more specialized gear for doing tooth extractions on elderly patients and other cutting-edge oral surgery procedures. This place is the most advanced dental clinic I've ever seen or experienced - its simply jaw dropping.
