| - I've only written a handful of reviews on Yelp. I feel it's worth writing one if the experience was extremely positive or horrible and dissatisfying. This experience was NOT the latter. This is by far the best pet hospital I've ever been to.
First of all, my 4.5 year old golden retriever / dachshund sporadically couldn't jump and it scared me. This was one of the only places that I found that was reputable and open on a Sunday. I met with Dr. Arthur, who was not only young, but extremely knowledgeable and friendly. By far the best doctor/vet I've ever met. I wish he was my primary Doctor, as I'm now jealous of my dog!
He explained what he thought the potential problem was and really took the time to make sure I understood the genetics behind her problem and the treatments. Most vets I've been to will often try and up-sell a product/service, but he was very honest and upfront that the X-rays and blood work would be expensive, so if I only wanted to do one or the other, he grouped the cost of each so I could better see the costs if I opted to choose one or the other. When it comes to my dog, money isn't a factor, but rather, getting properly treated.
--Fast forward an hour and a half after I left and came back to see the results of my dog upon completion of the tests--
Dr. Arthur explained how her X-rays looked in detail and gave me a tour of their back labs, which no vet has offered before. I can see why he did, though, because their labs and work stations are spotless! Extremely professional looking. Anyway, he was nice enough to not only X-ray her areas of pain, but he X-rayed her whole stomach area too because he said 'when's the next time I'll ever want an X-ray done, nonetheless of her stomach?' So he went above and beyond and explained to me how her stomach and spine looked on top of her pain areas (hips and back legs), which definitely wasn't what I was paying for!
He explained to me the treatments and other options for when/if it worsens. He was being truthful and I never felt he was trying to push extra services. In fact, he was saying things they could do, but was recommending AGAINST spending extra because he said it wouldn't be worth it at this point. That made me trust his directive 10x more.
Before this gets too much like an essay, I'll stray away from talking about him and talk about other positives about this center. Upon entering, the front reception staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I don't know her name, but one girl in particular (who I can only describe as a really pretty girl with arm tattoos that she covers up) really clarified the rest of the questions I had regarding the worthiness of pet insurance, their other accommodations for pet hotels, and other random questions I had about the medicine prescribed to my dog. She seemed just as knowledgeable as any vet, which is rare to find in an office admin/receptionist. She explained the accommodations and services they offer for their pet care and overnight stays. She even offered to give me a tour of their 'pet suites'. What kind of receptionist would take that kind of time out of their day??
I will definitely use not only their vet services, but also their pet suites when I go on business trips and vacation as it looks spotless and well-kept.
I can't stop raving how much better this vet office is than other vet or even human doctors offices. I'm huge on customer service, and these people give great service.
I highly urge you to give them a visit. I bet you'll be as satisfied as I was.
