  • I have had a horrible experience with not 1 but 2 lawyers at Standfford & Rosenbaum. My first was Anthony Menting. I hired him for Family Law because I had a child out of wedlock & was no longer with the father. I needed to figure out custody & on top of that the father was currently using hard drugs & I was fearful for my daughter to go alone with him. Our first custody hearing-Antony showed up late & didn't know where he was going. He sat my mother and I down in a room to go over things. We ended up missing our name being called and pissed off the judge who took my case!!! He made me and my mom look stupid. He was constantly on vacation and out of office every single time I would try and call him. Sometimes it was an emergency like the father of my child broke his custody or was high at exchanges. In one summer he took 3 vacations. He charged me for my voicemails-which I think is bs because it's not my fault YOU were out of office. Don't charge me for listening to my voicemail that says "Anthony please call me back" after a few more mishaps the last straw was that told me ""my name" you need to calm down and stop talking " when I was (yes a little worked up because my daughter was still being able to have alone time with the herion using dad. So yes I may have been worked up crying but he put me down & disrespected me. After that I switched to Tiffany Highstrom who at first seemed very nice and that she actually cared about my daughter and I. What I would learn later is she didn't give 2 craps she just wanted my money. After I officially switched to her, I asked her to file paperwork to change my placement that the father and I agreed on. She had her assistant call me back and tell me "Tiffany will not do any further work for you until you pay your fee and put up a $2,500 retainer." Well that would have been nice to know before I switched over to you TIFFANY!!!! They honestly don't care about ANYTHING besides making money. They are not lawyers who care about their customers. They are manipulating, condescending, and heartless people. If you want a lawyer who cares about you and cares to have a some what personal relationship-DO NOT GO TO THEM!!!!!! I don't think I would recommend them to my biggest enemy because I would be fearful for the child involved meaning that they really don't give two craps about any child or what happens to the child or the future of the child they only care about money I cannot stress that enough. And listen I am not an unreasonable person I understand that it is my job to pay to get service and upon hiring them I knew what they charged per hour and all of that. What I still don't understand is how I have spent almost $10,000 between the both of them and I'm still getting $20 a week in child support, my placement is still not changed, they have literally done nothing for me. It's absolutely mind blowing in. This is the first time I have ever left a review on any site on any one specific person and the reason I'm doing it is so if one person can read my review and stop themselves from hiring Stanford and Rosenblum for family law I will be happy with the time spent writing this.
