  • What a beautiful, picturesque oasis in downtown Phoenix! I was complaining about the new location chosen by my daughter and friends for pictures on Prom Night. We pulled in a magnificent entrance off 15th Avenue. There were families everywhere barbecuing. There are two parking lots. We were instructed to drive to the back lot. As we pulled up, I was overwhelmed by the pond/lake with an island in the middle. Waterfowl swam serenely and it was not crowded at all, making it easy to snap our pictures to our hearts' content. It is a great place to a go for a walk! I will be back with my tennis shoes.
