  • Nestled in the middle of Park Road shopping center, Flying Biscuit is definitely a place to try. Once you walk in, you can't help but smile from all the colorful decor on the walls. They have quite the extensive breakfast and lunch menu, so there is something for everyone here. I ordered the Southern Benedict, which is pimento cheese, poached egg and hollandaise sauce on a homemade biscuit. This was quite flavor packed, and a little on the spicy side. I'm not sure where the spice came from, and it was almost too much for me, but my breakfast date thought it was perfect. I got it with their creamy, dreamy grits and they most definitely lived up to their name! I highly recommend them if you're a grits fan. Also, each table has a squeeze bottle of apple butter to go with their biscuits, which is another added bonus for this spot.
