rev:text	This review is only for their late night dining. I've never really frequented this place unless it was after 11pm. Food: The food they offer here is a mix of American and Hawaiian food, with emphasis on Hawaiian food. There's a few filipino dishes I recognize, but for the most part it's considered a special. Of course, I have to mention the Oxtail Soup, a special that only runs from 11pm-9am in the morning. So if you're a late night owl, this is definitely the dish for you! It's their most popular dish. Although in my opinion, it's a little on the pricey side, it's still a good comfort dish. I've tried the Corned Beef Hash, Steak and Eggs, and Philippine Breakfast (Tocino and Eggs with Rice, my personal favorite). They're all pretty solid diner foods which you can't go wrong with, especially if you like breakfast food (again, my favorite meal). Environment/Ambiance: It's located in the California Hotel and Casino. Older looking diner, it doesn't really scream Hawaiian theme. Kinda dark and dreary especially at night, but always busy and full of patrons. Service: Service is pretty quick...once you're seated. Sometimes it takes forever to be seated but that's just an indication of how popular this place is. For the most part, our servers have been pretty welcoming, polite, and friendly. We've had maybe one bad apple that we've had the pleasure of being waited on by. Tips: Try the Oxtail soup! And if you get the Philippine Breakfast, pour the fried garlic on EVERYTHING! You're welcome.
