No thank you.
During a recent trip to Nordstrom Rack, I made my husband walk over to Rustic Stuff with me. The store looked cool and anything with the word "rustic" in the name sounds good to me. Yeah...not really the case.
This place is so incredibly expensive (I guess that's why they're located in Scottsdale). They have some pretty interesting pieces, but I don't know how a place this pricey stays in business. But the main reason for my one star review? The people working that day (who I believe were the owners) were so incredibly rude to us. When we walked in the store, there were no other customers. We got no "hello", no "how are you?", and definitely no "how can we help you?". We walked around for about 10 or 15 minutes and the only welcome we received were a few glares to keep our grubby paws off their expensive crap. I guess they could sense our middle class status because the second a ritzy couple with their snooty little dog came in, the owners were more than happy to help. And not only did they receive help, but they walked over and chatted with them casually. Hmm...I guess we need to be more Nordstrom and less Nordstrom Rack.
So even though this place is full to the brim with beautiful vintage pieces, there is no way I would recommend it to a friend. Not unless I had some rich, hoity-toity friends. Thanks, but no thanks.
