  • When you pay for services from someone you have the expectation that they will operate with integrity and pride. You won't find that here. During the process of selling our home, this company was selected to conduct a termite inspection. Being in this home since 09', never a trace of termites... No tunnels, damage, actual termites, etc. After completing their inspection, they stated that there was evidence of termites due to a tunnel located on the front of the house. I called the company the following day for clarification. The individual I spoke with (whom was also the individual that conducted the inspection) stated, "there was clearly a tunnel on the front of the house and the home owners just kicked it away before I got there." The individual foolishly thought he was speaking to a real estate agent. I informed him I was the home owner, I never kicked away a tunnel, and I have more integrity than to do that. He backtracked and stated, " I didn't mean you exactly, it could have been a landscaper". I asked if he took photos so I could see and he stated no and he didn't need to. We brought an individual out in the pest business and they said no termites, and what he claimed was a tunnel stain was not that. We didn't stop with one opinion though. Unfortunately, terms of the purchase required us to have the house treated since this guy said we had termites. We had another company come out for treatment. Prior to treatment they inspected the property and said no termites, whoever told you that was lying or wrong. After paying $400 for treatment that was not needed I called us pest to give them the opportunity to make it right. I informed him I had two separate companies out and that both stated no termites. I asked for his license number as I was looking into opening a complaint with the department of agriculture. He then stated he had someone with him and they agreed it was termites. I can attest to one of two things.... He's an out and out liar because I know he didn't have someone with him during the inspection... Or he trespassed on my property if he returned with someone after his initial inspection. Either way, not good. No apology for being wrong, or even just an apology for me feeling that the level of service he provided was unsatisfactory. I know it's just another day for us pest, but taking $400 out of someone's pocket for services not needed is no way to conduct business. Just operate with integrity and the other chips fall into place.
