| - I came for the dim sum and the food was only okay.
Visiting from a smaller city, I would've expected this place to have better dim sum than my hometown, but it was on par. The pros of this place was that the price of some of the dishes were cheaper ($3 for some certain dishes.. now if only the conversion rate was in my favour), and the crazily efficient service of all the cart ladies. We were a party of 6 and were seated right away (less than half of the restaurant was filled up), as we had arrived around 11am, which is a bit earlier than the rush. Once we sat down, the cart ladies were quick to come over one right after another to show us their available selections. I have never been to a dim sum restaurant where we got all the dishes we want within minutes. I'm so used to always eyeing carts for everyone's favourite dishes, and even asking the servers for specific dishes. We barely had time to start eating the dishes that were already in front of us, when the cart ladies made their way back to us again. We joked that they might have been on commission, as they were very persistent. We were in and out in less than an hour, which was faster than the shake shack line we were in the night prior.
I would recommend if you're looking for a quick meal, but don't expect a mind blowing meal.
