  • Horrible first time visit for both my husband and I. Neither of us will return. We recently moved here from out of state and were scheduled for annual physicals on separate days. We received none of the services that are standard with a complete physical exam. The PA barely looked up while going through the forms we completed. No advice for prevention (I had to ask for referral for my mammogram and also a dermatologist), no actual exam either as she only check heartbeat, nose and ears. She read our paperwork aloud as if to confirm prior to typing but failed to address anything. The bulk of the visit was watching her type the info into the laptop. Their website says they do labs, but they don't- they send you somewhere else to do the labs and then they sheet for locations is out of date as some of the locations don't complete the labs anymore. Not only did we not get adequate physicals, but they also charged each of us an new patient office visit, which our insurance did not cover because of a physical and office visit in the same day. No Rx refills for either of us and then we received two bills totaling over $320 for additional costs above and beyond the physicals. When I called to speak to the billing department, they stated that people "have the misconception of what a physical is and that the reason we received the bill was them going over our medical history and paperwork." Some of the medical history wasn't even dealing with me being sick but rather my parents who had cancer, HBP, etc. Oh, and when they referred us for our labs, the codes they used did not identify it for a physical but rather for an office visit which resulted in another bill for each of us. In all more than $425 charged to us when it was supposed to be for annual physicals which are covered 100%!!! Well not only was there no illness care there was also no wellness care either, just questions about what we filled out on the paperwork. I still need a physical, a pelvic exam, and a breast exam. yep, I still need all of those things. I had to push her to give me the referral for the mammogram and dermatologist. My husband had to request a referral to a neurologist due to a history of headaches. I guess they think that is work an extra charge of $143.76 for me and $180. for my husband. All other concerns will be saved for another provider.
