  • I have been taking my daughter to this office for almost 3 years and my son since he was born last February. I have had a myriad of issues in that time, mainly with the front desk: - in the fall I had to schedule a separate appointment for my baby to have a flu shot. I came in 10 minutes before appointment time, then waited a total of 50 minutes!!! For a 2 minute shot! I asked repeatedly when he was going to be taken care of with "oh, he's next" "it'll just be another minute". I finally had to get upset and say I don't have time for this and threaten to leave before they did anything. Then the young lady (on the well side always) and young man who administered the shot were laughing and carrying on while I was angry, dealing with a tired hungry 8 month old. Everything about that was unprofessional. - we met Dr Bartha when we had our son because the office sends whatever doctor is available and we decided we really liked her. Unfortunately she's been out on leave for months and we've literally not seen an actual Dr in about 9 months of visits. - I do not like that they won't let me hold my child lovingly during vaccinations but instead I have to help by holding him down. Seems unnecessarily traumatic. My old pediatrician preferred for us to bear hug my daughter and it seems so much happier for the baby. - most recently I have been getting charged a higher co-pay than I should be. When I say no, that's the specialist amount, I'm told I need to pay it and then deal with my insurance company myself. And that I owe a balance for not paying the higher amount at a previous appointment (come to find out, they're charging me a specialist copay when I'm scheduled to see a PA, which is basically every time I'm in there.). - after being told I owed $30 more than I did, I agreed to pay and figure it out later because my daughter was sick and I was tired of arguing, I discovered that I misplaced my debit card and had no way to pay. The only response I got was "would you like to reschedule?" Seems to me this office cares more about getting their money than they do about treating the kids. I have been a patient for 3 years with 2 kids and have always paid whatever needs to be paid. I ended up taking her to an urgent care so she could be seen right away because I don't have time to reschedule appointments when I suspect she's seriously sick. - as a general rule, the young lady on the well side is repeatedly rude and snotty, and I hate dealing with her. - I have had really good experiences with Dr Agarwal in dealing with my sons tongue tie, Dr Bartha is great, and a few of the PAs have also been great, but the unfortunate thing is I have no choice but to deal with the front office if I want to see these providers and I'm growing weary of it. I will likely start to look for a new place to take my kids, somewhere with a good experience every time I'm there. Not one that is occasionally a good experience.
