| - I wanted something LIGHT for dinner, but I made reservations at Circo a week in advance.
Italian is usually not very HEALTHY fare.
Surprisingly, you can find small portions, none of which are laden with cheese or sauces.
It was really windy in Vegas, so I changed from a summer dress into very casual shorts. They prefer jackets and ties, but they are not required. Phew!
The staff were super accommodating:
1) We were an hour late.
2) They quickened the pace of the meal, b/c we wanted to play one last time before we headed out.
Very satisfying meal, that still kept us light on our toes to throw dice:
4 glasses of wine $48
Beef Carpaccio appetizer, pounded thin, w/generous parmesan $19
Caesar salad, w/perfectly tangy dressing $16
Rabbit wrapped in prosciutto appetizer, lean & tender $19
Salmon, cooked nice & rare $34
The prices were very reasonable. Bread was warm, crusty, and I learned that Parmesan in the EVOO/balsamic mixture kicks arse!!!
We decided AGAINST dessert, but we were presented with a plate full of petit fours.
Sadly, there is no 'Lake' dining at this Bellagio dining room, that would have catapulted it to FIVE stars.
