  • It's Friday night and this is my second attempt at finding a bar with the "right" atmosphere for conversation with new people. The guy and gal behind the bar are exceptional and the beer is worthy. On atmosphere: The sound level is just right and the chairs are comfortable. The TV's amore playing the Olympics and .. wait for it .. one is actually playing the music videos that match the music! It's a personal pet peeve, but I *love* it if I can see at least *one* TV that matches the sound. (Thank you!!!) On making new conversation, I feel like there could be more draw for open socialization here - games / props / Thursday night yoga / etc. It's still not the atmosphere I was searching for but I'll definitely be back; please put the Mocha Java Porter on tap! It's perfect for a low key date and walking to other nearby establishments - location-location-location! Plus I'm really into the music .. don't judge .. I like Nelly, Lorde, All American Rejects and Beck and some good throwback. (Thanks, Brian, for a good playlist!) The decoration would be quite at home in Charleston near a dock. P.S. If nothing else, come here because EP is the most awesomist beer-tender of all time!! ;)
