Alright ... pros and cons. Great looking corner diner next to a bunch of art galleries. They come up with a bunch of vegan/vegetarian dishes and have some pretty creative ideas on their menu. I got the Frank Lloyd Bite (nice tribute) and thought the pancakes were fantastic as well as the hash browns. They use eggplant as a side for "bacon". I found them good but a little on the cold side. I didn't care much for the side of biscuit with poblano gravy and the coffee was ok. So Bragg's is located in the Grand Ave district which is an area of town dedicated to the simple nostalgic ways of living. It makes this area unique and I enjoy seeing greasers cruise their vintage cars on occasional nights. But unless you have a big hipster beard, bed head and thrift store clothes on, you just aren't going to get the best service here as there is favoritism to the regulars in the area. My service was ok (10 min to get acknowledged after I sat down and another 10 to get a cup of coffee), but I have to wonder if I had a suit and tie on if I would even get served. I'll check them out again just because they get good reviews but I have to give a slight thumbs down for my first experience.
