  • A few colleagues and I stopped by Citizens Kitchen and Bar located in the Mandalay Bay Hotel on the evening of Monday, October 17th. I ordered the French Dip which consisted of thin sliced prime rib, caramelized onions, Provolone cheese, and Au Jus. It came with a side of fries (which were hot temperature wise and salted perfectly) and a pickle spear. It was somewhat challenging to dip in the Au Jus because of the bread. It was more of a hoagie bun and full of meat, so it made it hard to get that big sandwich into the little "cup" of Au Jus. However, when I was able to dip it, it was good. Justin, our waiter, was FANTASTIC!!! He was very talkative and friendly, and checked up on us quite a bit to ensure that we had everything we needed. He is an asset to the restaurant. If you are hungry late night, or anytime really, then sneak into Citizens for a bite. You'll walk away happy!
