| - You are sooooooooooooooo yummy! All the apps were amazing, but the entree was a thumbs down. This could have almost been 5 stars. Portions are pretty big and service was good. Also even though I made reservations, they sat us at these very high tables by the bar. I am having a family dinner and it got super loud. I think it would have been better by the kitchen on regular tables.
I picked this place because it's inside the Cesar's Palace right by the sports bar and we were going to watch Celine Dion (amazing show btw-a must see!)
Now for the food:
spicy hamachi & avocado, fresno chili / cilantro / oil-comes in a jar. Was't too spicy, but the hamachi was fresh and goes well with the wonton chips
beef tartare & sourdough, capers / mustard / egg yolk-also comes in a jar with wonton chips. Perfect amount of seasoning.
blistered shishito peppers ponzu / sea salt-something I just love to eat so I have to always order this if I see it on the menu. Thumbs up
bone marrow* fresno chili bourbon glaze-i'm not a fan of bone marrow because it is too fatty for me, but this was amazing! best dish of the night. The crispy brussel sprouts that it comes with gives it that nice texture. Spread the bone marrow on the bread, top it off with the sprouts and some cilantro and you have the best thing you've ever eaten!
mussels* chorizo / chili / cilantro / corona-they give alot. make sure you dip the mussels in the broth to give it that extra flavor
duck fat fries-crispy and delicious.
beer braised short ribs, horseradish potatoes / crispy onions-this was their signature dish and it was so disappointing. Lacked flavor, was dry, and we told the waitress. She did offer to make a new one, but we were so full and didn't want another one.
Stick with the appetizers only!
