| - THIS IS THE WORST TIMESHARE EVER!!! SCAM! SCAM! PLEASE READ. All lies and liers!
We attended a 90 minute presentation with Sapphire Resorts that turns out more than 2 hours because of the sales pitch and lies they told us.
First, we sat in a room and listen to a board presentation with Anthony ( very funny but a big fat liar)
Then after the presentation they sat us on a table with the the Lady who is there to answer all our question and concerns (She is very nice and friendly, but we cant believe now, how she is able to do it day after day lying to people) My wife and I is already considering to get it at this time after listening to the presentation because it sounds so good and reasonable to us since we do a lot of vacations every year and also having attended several presentation like this before and so far it looks the best ( this is before we learn its all SCAM and all LIES).
Anthony join us in our table later answering our questions then offer us to reduce the price to 8k only plus giving us a free 7 day cruise with royal caribbean and a 3 day vacation package to hawaii if we sign up and give a deposit of $900. At this point, my wife and I were convinced that its a good investment and with the extra gifts and bonus they are giving its worth our money.
After that we were led to a room with another guy that have all our paperworks ready to sign, more than 30 pages, with a tape recorder stating that all is legal and binding. We went to all the paper works in a breeze, barely getting explanation on the papers we are signing, they keep on saying we can read them when we want to fall asleep at night... meaning not that important. After that they hand us everything in an envelop and sealed it. We still have a lots of questions and my wife is still wanting some of the things they promised to us to be in writing. But they say everything is in there and we just need to relax and enjoy our stay in the free hotel and gifts they gave us.
When we get to our room, our Teenage son can't beleive that we get it. He knows that we cannot easily persuaded with this presentations and we don't give in easily. Our son did his research and found all reviews and comments are bad. It is then that we dig deeper and found out that we told lies after lies and false promises
HERE ARE THE LIES AND FALSE PROMISES:
1. They say that they are highly rated to BBB but 90% of the feedback is NEGATIVE!
2. They are under several business names SAPPHIRE RESORTS, GEOHOLIDAY RESORTS, STARPOINT RESORTS... and others. They changing names to avoid bad publicity.
3. The purchased price started at 10k we bought it at 9k. But we learned that others got theirs at only 6k, 5k and some was offered down to 2k.
4. The free gifts of trip to HAWAII and CRUISES is impossible to book. All the reviews we read says its a headache to claim this gifts and others not claim it at all.
5. Their RESORTS are rundown and cheap places. No wonder they are only asking $250 annual maintenance fee because nothing to maintain. It is far from what they show during presentation.
6. They say that its 89% guaranteed that you can booked, last minute or anytime... the truth is you cant, its a headache
7. They give us the big booklet of their resorts with corresponding points to book. they told us we need only 5k to book which is the amount of points we purchased. my wife calls and check and its not true! we need at least 15k to book and we need to purchase more points.. meaning more money.
8. They say that there is a cap of 5% but not in writing.
9. The cruise is not ocean view, and all reviews says its hard to book.
10. They never told us that WE CAN CANCEL WITHIN 5 DAYS, AND THEY PUT THE PAPERWORKS AT THE BACK, BURIED SO WE CAN'T SEE THEM.
My son started to read the contract and there he found the paperworks we need to cancel. He wrote the letter and we fill up the form immediately and hand carry it to them.
Anthony tries to negotiate to us when we told him we are cancelling and started his sales pitch. he then offer to give us more discount on the purchased price down to 5k instead of 9K and the down payment of $300 instead of $900. By this time we are well informed and was able to say "NO" AND "NO MORE", he was still insisted and trying to convince us... The only reason he stops and signed and received our cancellation is when I RAISED MY VOICE SAY "NO".
We finally received our money back to our credit card after 2 weeks. Looking back.. I cant believed that this people will go that LOW just to scam people and get their hard earn money.
