  • My doxie was spraying blood from an artery in the foot from stepping on something sharp Saturday night. I was in healthcare before I retired so I knew to put pressure on it. But, it's different when it's your baby! I came in with my husband and my baby boy (Chico) and they came right out to get him and then they helped me clean up. I was hysterical and they were so kind to me (kinder than my husband). I can't tell you how upset I was. The bedroom looked like a crime scene. I looked like a crime scene. He did loose a bit of blood and that really concerned me. Chico was going into shock when we first got there and that made me question if Chico was going to be ok. I did not know, for what seemed like forever, until one of the assistants came in and told us he was going to be fine. They had to wait for another Doctor to come in to cauterize the bleed meanwhile, they sent us home. They did call around 3 or 4 am and said he was fine after the cauterization and to pick him up in the morning. They called to check on him Sunday and Monday also. No, they are not cheap but, none of these places are cheap. But, they were really good and kind to us. Thank you guys so much!!!!
