| - Ok four friends are looking at the area for lunch and throwing out suggestions, pizza pies, Mexican, grills and my one buddy ended you saying that this place has good burgers so away we went because I have only had drinks here and the food looked good.
Ok the brunch menu was in service and two of us are scratching our heads looking for good burgers on the menu, there is only one period which is the Bobs bad breath burger which neither of us wanted, we were looking for a list of burger options to choose from. My buddy is feverishly trying to talk us in to just getting it anyway which turns into cranky/spirited lecture of how I should have it how the chef makes it, FU#k no that's not what and I'm not getting it. I ask the server if I could get a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and raw onion rare which she says is ok so that's what I got. My buddy try's to embarrass me by telling our server that I'm being difficult and the whole kitchen should spit in my burger, nice guy.
The burger came in a reasonable amount of time for how busy the place was and did it spectacular on the plate. It came with a side of greens and basically house made thick chips. During the lecture he says how he also hates how people salt their food before tasting it so I made it a point to pull the top bun off and salt the burger in front of him, former restaurant owners can be bitchy when dining with them.
The burger was so Fu#%ing good with the rare 1/2 patty having garlic in it and a nice grill flavor that just complemented the fresh lettuce, thick sliced tomatoes, raw red onion, crispy bacon and meaty cheese on a very fresh light bun. The garlic and grill flavor of the meat combined really set this burger apart from other burgers. The greens were good with a surprising heat finish that has a delay when eating them. I don't care at all for chips with any sandwich from a restaurant no matter how good they are, please give us frys because chips always appears as cheaping out on the plate.
This place is definitely worth stopping over for a burger even if it means a special request because of allergies or what ever and it's a cool place also.
