  • I'm not sure why people are having issues with Embrace. The one time they didn't reimburse me for something I was sure they would cover, it turned out to be a minor issue with paperwork. Once it was sorted out, they covered everything. I have two dogs covered by Embrace. I have Wellness coverage for both. The Wellness has covered 100% of vaccines, Well Pet visits, and even dental cleaning under anesthesia. They covered a prophylactic gastropexy for our Boxer/Lab mix puppy. Our puppy, who is now 14 months old, has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia, and will need a total hip replacement. I have confirmed with Embrace that they will cover the surgery, and the post-surgery rehab. We did, of course, have to send in medical records and get an orthopedic certification from the vet when we started the policy. Because we followed the guidelines, we have had no issues with Embrace. Also, their turnaround for claims processing is about 2 weeks. They let you know by email as soon as they receive and process the claim. I couldn't be happier.
