  • Update: I've changed this from 2 stars to 4 due to the service I received after giving the below review. The company called apologizing and reviewing what was done with me to see how they could improve. It seems there was either a miscommunication regarding whether I had given permission to cut the mats out or the mats were too small for various combs to have found them all. While I'm still disappointed that I wasn't contacted to clarify what was allowed while they had her or that they weren't as thorough as they needed to be with my dogs super undercoat I can forgive human error to a company who obviously takes pride in their reputation and the satisfaction of their customers. I leave this whole experience a bit impressed and willing to give them another go as they were so eager to make it right. Original review: I've taken my dogs here multiple times without any issues usually it's a very good place to go. I find this groomer clean and very friendly with normally high quality results. Unfortunately this time I was extremely disappointed. I have two dogs one of them is a long haired Shepherd that I took in for a bath and grooming yesterday. When I got to the store I specifically told them my shepherd had been swimming quite a bit and had a number of mats that needed to be addressed either by brushing them out or cutting them but I wanted to make sure they would be taken care of. The lady who was very sweet at the counter assured me they would make sure they were all taken care of. About two hours later they called me saying my dogs were ready which surprised me as it was a very fast turn around compared to how long they usually take but there were quite a few more people than I normally see so I assumed they'd just sped up their processes somehow. When I pick my dogs up they looked great and I thanked them, tipped them and left it at that. Today as I'm snuggling my shepherd I find a number of mats all over her neck, back, and especially hind legs. I get my dog brush and a pair of scissors and I spend the next 45 minutes going through and cutting out over 30 mats that they either missed or just brushed over in a way that came across as hiding the mats. I'm very disappointed with this trip and will be seriously reconsidering taking my dogs to this location again if they need anything more than a basic wash and brush.
