  • I went on a Saturday without checking (opening time) first at 10:00am, When I got there the shop was closed & the "store hours" showed an 11:00am opening. So I headed back towards Fox Chapel to kill some time in a McDonalds. I got back to Sharpsburg around 10:50 & parked across the street. No one showed-up until about 11:25am on an 80+ degree day, so waiting in the car wasn't at all pleasant. Eventually I was able to go inside. I had a zippered pocket on a garment that needed the zipper replaced. The lady told me immediately that she couldn't do it because she could not get her machine in the space. Hmmmm, my mother used to mend clothes & never owned a sewing machine. How did the world function before sewing machines existed? Anyway, no point in returning here, especially if the proprietor either can't arrive on-time OR post the proper business hours on the front door.
