  • Beer was far too expensive. $7 for a can of Pabst? And with all the live music venues closing in Toronto you'd think they would/could/should hire a soundguy who isn't a jerk or idiot. Guy whose name starts with M felt the night (running on time) needed to be rushed, yet he had each individual musician check their instruments before their sets... for both the bands he soundchecked, and then still rushed both and cut both short. Here's a pro tip: take notes of what you do in sound check, and don't harass bands about time before their sets starts. You are musician support first. Four 30 minute sets becoming four 40 minute sets is absolutely cool. The soundguy absolutely was not cool.
