  • I have been waiting for Evelyn Cervantes to call me back for over 24 hours now regarding our deposit getting hit for items that never existed in the rental property. Colony American and now Waypointe Homes were and are the worst companies to rent through. I wish I would have done more research before committing to them. These people do not care about you, your property, or your experience. Do your research and be smarter than I was. Do not get involved with them. It's a nightmare. Update: Casey, The problem isn't that the check was cut. If you read my post the issue is why we are being hit. Some of the issues were irrelevant to the actual property. There were no faux wood blinds in the house and the blinds that were missing were not there when we moved in! I wrote it in on our move in form! I want my money for the things that were either missing when we got there or NON EXISTENT.
