It was very good food and I can't believe it's taken me this long to come out here and try it. I loved the atmosphere and our waiter was attentive and helpful. We went with a large group which sometimes means dinner can take a long time, but I didn't feel like we were a struggle for the restaurant.
A bunch of us tried the fried alligator which was very delicious. I'm a huge fan of duck and pretty much get it anywhere we go, and NOLA was no exception. It was cooked well and they even made the swiss chard taste good. I ate everything. The sweet potatoes were legendary. I would love to figure out how to make my own version of these. To finish we all ordered beignets with ice cream or sorbet and they were delicious.
We definitely left with a hefty bill, but the food was worth it.
