  • I have the great pleasure of writing this review for Bill Ferguson, the owner of CHS Remodeling, and his staff. First, let me say that I am 3000 miles away on the west coast. I found Bill just by luck, searching on-line for someone to go out and repair my rental in Charlotte. I may have read a review or 2 that were very good; however, I was pretty much in the dark and the damages in my rental were, as it turns out, a disaster. My tenants did not notice a water heater leak which had to have been leaking for a very, very long time as the water started to bubble up THROUGH the tile. Bill had to tear out walls and floors due to the damage. Once the damages got up around $15k, my husband and I decided we were not going to keep it and we would see if Bill could do some minor improvements so we could sell it. The damages meant both of the bathrooms had to completely remodeled (new floors, new tile, new vanities, etc.). Bill talked me into removing one of the walls in the house to open it up and give it more light. He also remodeled our kitchen from the bottom up. We replaced all of the appliances. Bill went over and above for me - somebody had to meet different people at the rental for different reasons - Bill went and waited for them. In fact, when repairing the damages, Bill and his crew worked two shifts at one point so I could get my tenants back into the property as soon as possible. (They had to move out once the walls were torn down and the floors were ripped out). I can't say enough good things about this company and it's owner. I have no one in Charlotte that I could have called to do the things that Bill voluntarily did for me. He even went out and gave the front of the house a little curb appeal before it went on the market. Once it "went on the market", Bill was instrumental in selling it. He happened to be in the house when a realtor brought in some clients. I'm told that those clients were very impressed with my contractor (Bill). They bought the house. Bill does small jobs; and large jobs. He is quite knowledgeable in the construction field. If you want someone who is really good and very easy to work with, then give this company a call. They are without doubt a FIVE-STAR COMPANY.
