This morning on my way to work I stopped at a service station to fill up my motorcycle front tire. The air pump was not working so remembering that Orchard Park was a full service garage and just down the road I headed over. My tire at this point was dangerously low and I barely made it. My first interaction with the owner of the garage was to ask for a loonie in exchange for 4 quarters to use the air pump. He looked at me - a female in motorcycle gear and clearly he did not approve, I got a "What for?" and then he begrudgingly took my quarters and gave me a loony. I went out to fill my tire and had problems getting the air into the tire - instead the tire became flatter. Either I had a leak or I was not applying enough pressure on the valve. The pump ran out and I went back into the office to see if I could get some assistance before I called CAA. His response was gruff, rude and clearly he had no interest in helping me what so ever. A customer standing and listening to this exchange offered to assist me and the good news is I was back on the road and it was not a flat. As for the customer service at Orchard Park, even though I wasn't technically a customer, the rudeness and offensive behaviour I experienced was so awful I would never bring my car to this garage even though I live in the area.
