Just moved to a ten minute drive from here. Used to have to stop in on the way back from work, now it's so close!
Here's one of the main reasons I shop here. I'm healthy and I like to stay healthy by eating quality. And the standards of Whole Foods are great. "no hydrogenated fats, no artificial sweeteners, no artificial flavors or colors, and no artificial preservatives." That cuts a whole lot of crap that would show up at the normal grocery store out of my way when I shop.
And this next part may be crazy, but I find that when I eat quality food, I don't eat as much of it. Something about conventional food makes you just shovel it in. But if I buy a pack of natural marshmallows, I can eat just one and feel content. Same with a burger from Whole Foods. I can eat just one.
I always get good service. Not hard to find someone to help out.
Hot bar can be hit or miss. Sometimes the food is great. Sometimes, meh.
And price? Ya, it's pricy but I do believe I get what I pay for. But you do need to check around. Fresh squeezed orange juice was less expensive here than at Sobey's or Fresh&Wild on Bloor.
