First off, the place is gorgeous. Rustic, charming. You can smell the wood-burning oven. It's cozy, inviting. I wasn't in a hurry to leave.
Our waitress was okay. Not terribly friendly. I felt as though we were bothering her.
The beer was pretty good. Not the best, not the worst. Nothing terribly noteworthy, but I'd sit down with another glass of Succession with a meal.
Which brings me to the food. WOW! Clearly not an afterthought. Beer Cheese Burger on Pork Belly Brioche?! Who does that?! AH-mazing. (Pro-tip: add bacon jam.) And Parmesan Truffle Fries - to die for.
I'd mainly go back for the food and the atmosphere & have a beer while I'm there. Although, if you're mainly JUST looking for a really good beer, this may not be the best of choices. Go there for the food, stay for the beer.
