  • This is not my favorite Wendy's location. 1) the drive through is always closed. You have to eat in and parking in yuppie East Liberty is impossible these days. 2) they screwed up the logo on the sign. It is very difficult to tell that this is indeed a Wendy's. 3) they were out of all my favorite Wendy's foods like baconator, nuggets, FROSTY.... even french fries. How the hell do you run out of french fries? 4) the alternate menu was a confused jumbled mess of cuisines without any coherent identity. Also, sushi? At Wendy's? How did that happen. 5) the food was all kind of bland, flavorless. Lacking in the nuanced umami I have come to expect from the "Quality is our ingredient" mantra. 6) the dining experience is nothing more or less what I would expect from a Wendy's dining room. Nothing special though I am normally a drive through customer. On the plus side: FINALLY a Wendy's with a decent wine list. I give it three stars for trying but not trying hard enough.
