We got a few donuts the other day (s'mores, white chocolate mousse, and maple bacon) and they were a bit hit-or-miss for us. S'mores and maple bacon were nothing extraordinary and were not worth 3 bucks a pop. However, the white chocolate mousse was amazing! We suspect it's because there's only so much you can do with dough and toppings to make it stand-out, while the filings are where you can taste the difference in quality of ingredients. I'm interested in testing out this theory by trying out their other filled donuts like Boston cream and PBJ. But for any of the other donuts, I would rather pay 1/3 the price and go to Tim's.
Also, not sure why people think they're baked. I thought I spotted a fryer or two in the back....
