  • When I first moved from Tucson to Phoenix in 1999 I had an apartment just up 19th Avenue from here, but this wasn't a Sprouts, it was a crappy Southwest Supermarket that I wouldn't even set foot in because it was so dirty. I don't live in that apartment anymore, but my house isn't that far away, so when this shopping center was renovated and the supermarket became Sprouts and they added a Bookman's next door, I was thrilled! This Sprouts is very clean and has an excellent selection of healthy foods, fresh produce, bulk foods, natural products, and even craft beer. Plus, unlike the Sprouts by my office in Scottsdale, the employees at this location actually move at a pace that seems like they want to do the job. Plus, I love the fact that unlike Whole Foods or AJ's, Sprouts actually sells natural and healthy items at prices comparable to Fry's or Safeway. While I don't do all of my shopping here, I appreciate having this store in the area.
