  • This review is SO OVERDUE. I have been coming religiously to see Fatima for facials for about two years now. She is simply the best there is. Hands down. I had been going to the Aveda Institute for facials for the last 10-12 years but one day I saw a Groupon for a facial at True Aveda and decided to try it. It was amazing. Fatima is so sweet and gentle in her demeanor and always makes me feel super welcome. By this point she knows my skin so she knows what my typical concerns are and what my habits are, ergo she is able to tailor the facial to my needs. I cannot stress the importance of someone that knows your skin and routinely sees you, giving you a constant service. She knows about my skin sensitivity and the products that I use and always gives me great product recommendations and other tips. The facial service itself is divine, the masks feel amazing during the treatment and the massages you receive are divine. There is something very nurturing about Fatima. And I feel like the service can have an almost animal nurturing quality to it. Like you're in a vulnerable position, kind of exposed. But the bed is warm and you are wrapped in there, all nice and toasty while someone is touching and caring for you. I almost purr like a cub at our sessions! I've received a couple of massages from her as well. They were wonderful, and again, as she learns about your body the sessions can only get better. At this time I cannot recall how much they cost, but they are pricey, to be honest and not in my budget to get that often. Although I wish I could! Get in here to see Fatima but be prepared to come back over and over again. But we all deserve self-care and our faces and our skin is so important that we must take care of it. It is an expense that I am happy to pay.
