  • The first time I went here I went because I read on yelp they have $11 oil changes. Thought that was a great deal! I get there to be told by one of the guys who looked at my car that my car calls for synthetic oil. This is the first time I've ever heard that. I've never paid more than $25 at other places before. The guy who looked at my car said that everyone who has ever given me an oil change in the past has done it wrong and that my car actually needs synthetic oil. Well apparently that cost $50 instead of $11 which was why I came there in the first place. I was very reluctant to shell out $50 for something I knew should really be only costing me $11. The guy realized my hesitance and knocked down the price to $35. They also said that I needed a air filter replaced and quoted me at $40 to do it. That seemed a little high so I went to autozone and they switched mine out for $22 instead. I came back here a few months later and got the $7.77 smog check. And this time it actually only did cost me $7.77! So I guess I'll be coming back here for the cheap smog tests they do but for oil changes I think I'm going to shop around and see if that really is a fair price for my car. Cause I know the $40 air filter wasn't a good price. I told the guy at autozone what they quoted me and he was shocked someone would charge 100% markup for installation. And I have to agree. The guys at autozone put it in my car for a smile and a thank you.
