  • I have done business with Autonation Toyota since 2012, I made my purchase of a 2012 FJ Cruiser 4 X 4. I received GOOD service from Reggie Miller, the sales mgr. When I returned to the dealership in June of 2015 I was VERY surprised by the changes, nice renovated showroom etc. The management in Autonation Toyota is terrible, they DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS! Nick, whom I have had dealings with in the past (General MGR.) is a JERK, FULL OF HIMSELF! Mr. New York (Joey Buttafuoco)! Whenever I go in for service this dealership does not pay any attention to a customer's requests! I TELL them I do not want a courtesy vehicle check (it increases your wait time and your bill) and they STILL do it! On 10/1/15 I went in for a 4 wheel service. I had them change the fluids rear and front differential as well as the transfer case. THATS ALL! I received my car from Manny the service attendant and my windshield washers were run, I know because the solution was blue! I keep my car VERY clean and I had just finished coating my windows and cleaning them with Rainex. They did this to see if my front or rear wiper blades were good, but I had replaced my blades at 30K! They dirtied up my windows by doing so and didn't clean it off. I had told the Service Rep., Vinny (nice guy) I have done ALL of the required servicing he said "no problem" we won't do it. I picked up the vehicle and they did their little thing of checking the car. Mind you I am VERY proactive and this service WAS NOT REQUIRED BY TOYOTAS SERVICE MANUAL at 36,416 miles(the car has gone cross country twice, so I thought I needed it). I am not well, just finished major surgery so doing it myself was not an option. I do not need the aggravation or the frustration of dealing with them. I went on the Toyota.com website to use the owners section to check the repairs and maintenance which was done but I forgot my password and user name (brain fart)! That's when the headache started. Their password/name recovery system sticks and doesn't work like others who respond with minutes. I then sent an email to Toyota to try and get it, no response for four days! Then I get an email stating they received my email and if I have any questions refer to the dealership. I called Autonation and they gave me Ron who said I will help you and I got no help. When you call Toyotas 800 service number, since I retain a Hawaii phone number, it prompted me to call Servco Pacific in Honolulu, and then hangs up. No Human! I live in Las Vegas and I have never done business with Servco. So I contacted ALL of the Las Vegas Dealers and one in Carson City to help me. Not one of them would, I was still asking and saying please. So I called Servco Pacific in Honolulu (a three hour delay because of time zone) and they HELPED ME OUT. They could not understand why the Las Vegas Dealerships could not do it. When Servco's rep asked me for the VIN# she says "this is a continental U.S. purchased vehicle we never sold you this vehicle but out of the spirit of service I will help you out". Done within minutes. She did a VERY GOOD JOB and I got my password and name. I had called and Ron said he would personally give Mrs. Gambino (customer relations manager) the message. I called and left her a voice mail to call me immediately. That was at 9:45AM after being told by Ron and Adrianna she was coming in at 9:30 AM. After several more calls one of the people told me she wouldn't be in until 12:30. She finally returned my call at 5:46PM! Yeah fast service! Nissan Corp never treated me like this after 35 years. After this no more Toyota products, its too much hassle. I am done with the Toyota experience. Is this anyway to run the worlds largest Auto maker?
