  • I used to love this place! They are pricey, but it was worth it coming in for their huge selection and their fantastic service! That's all changed. The food is hit or miss, either its delicious and fresh, or it looks and tastes like it's been sitting in the case for days festering. There are still a few staff that I recognize from before that are still happy and welcoming, but mostly its nothing but a bunch of bad attitudes, like waiting on customers is a chore. During one visit one of the kitchen staff came out to do something while I was waiting and I heard her be exceptionally rude to people I can only assume are regulars because they asked her how she was doing. Part of the appeal of this place was how it felt like a close knit bakery where everyone was welcome and were treated like family. Like I said, there's still a few familiar faces that provide this kind of service each time, but I feel like the whole atmosphere has changed. For the price of the food, I could just go to Heinen's prepared section and get the same unfamiliar service that I would get here.
