It is sad when I have to deal with nonchalant staff just so that I can wait an hour past my scheduled appointment to see the doctor for nine minutes. Additionally, the lady who drew my blood was rather indifferent and ended up bruising my arm.
Update Sept 2014: Dr. Deka missed an ectopic pregnancy diagnosis. After two blood workups, I was told my pregnancy was progressing just fine and that I could travel to Italy (trip already planned). I did not like the quick dismissal and callous, noncaring attitude of Dr. Deka and her staff during this time so I went to another doctor to establish care (Dr. Millie Behera). Good thing I sought care elsewhere as Dr. Behera was more proactive and diagnosed the ectopic pregnancy accurately. I was closely monitored by Dr. Behera for two additional weeks before we had to terminate the pregnancy. Pretty scary to think that if I had gone to Italy on the advice of Dr. Deka, that I would have had to deal with the potentially life threatening ectopic pregnancy overseas.
