Avoid this awful company at all costs. Was told during the walk through that the house would be cleaned up and there would be clean appliances put in. We paid our deposit and rent on a Wednesday for a move in on the following Thursday and the company didn't respond to any calls for a week(the day before move in). Upon arrival to the new property the house was filthy and the carpets were not cleaned(they will dispute that but I have before and after pictures from paying to have the carpets cleaned myself and they were barely vacuumed). No one ever answers their phone or calls back at first United. The house wasn't even in living condition until a week after we were supposed to move in. It has been an awful experience and I'm dreading having to deal with these people and fighting to get our deposit back even though we've had to put our own money into repairing this house. The company blamed their third party vendor for repairs and cleaning (also still waiting on the credentials of this apparent maintenance company) and the vendor blames the landlords for not wanting to use the previous tenants deposit for repairs.. What was the point of getting a deposit if not to make sure the property looked appropriate for the next tenants? The dishwasher had MOLD and their way of cleaning it was to run it a few times... Gross. The only thing that they did after the previous tenants left was spot paint over the dirty walls. Avoid the criminals at first United management at all costs.
