I was so excited to finally get to Millie's. I was looking forward to trying a macaron ice cream sandwich. We walked over from Sienna Mercato and there was a few people in line when we got there. When we got up to the front of the line I found out that they didn't have any of the macarons that day. Talk about a big disappointment. The only reason I wanted to come here was specifically for the macaron sandwich. The lady in front of me wanted to get a cone and they were totally out of waffle cones too. She was told to be a few minutes before she was able to get one. I find that totally unacceptable. There may have been 5 people in there working on a Saturday night, but if you can't even have the things that are on your menu available to customers what's the point of being open. I ended up trying to rhubarb sorbet which was actually very good. My husband went with three scoops of ice cream. He said they were all good except for the mint chocolate chip, it was overly minty and almost artificial like. Not sure if I'll be back to see if I can ever get that macaron sandwich, I may have to call in advance to make sure it's available.
