  • After a few high pressure days here in the Valley and seeing the dirt and random debris that came out of our air vents I decided that getting our air ducts cleaned would be a good idea. I also hoped this would reduce some allergy issues our household had been experiencing. I checked around and found Arizona Air Cleaners had the best reviews here on Yelp. I called and spoke with David who was very helpful and explained the basic service and the additional services that were available. I felt confident that I had contacted the right company and in turn scheduled an appointment. Bright and early on the day scheduled, David (a different David) and his assistant arrived. They were both very pleasant and professional from the start. David explained what needed to be done for the basic vacuum service and that after our vents and AC unit were inspected he would show me what was found so I could make a determination on deep cleaning and sanitizing the ducts. After the grates were removed I was shown all of the dust and dirt caked to the walls of the duct work (this service was clearly never preformed on my nearly 40 year old home) and a video of my AC unit. David stated that the normal AC and pan clean was $199.99 but that he could tell we had had our AC serviced and that the technician had cleaned the pan and so there was no reason for him to do so. In turn the service was $129.00. I had expected to deep clean and sanitize the systems before they arrived and finding that I wasn't going to be charged for work that wasn't necessary was refreshing. All questions were answered fully, the service thorough and the staff pleasant. We also can tell the difference in the air that we are breathing. The final service fee (which I expected to vacuum, deep clean and sanitize) was quite a bit more expensive than the general quote I was given on the phone. (Wishing I was lucky like Rich F. who was given the $169.00 sanitizing for free.) Also there was a good deal of debris left on the floor around all vents. This was easy for me to clean up but at nearly $450.00 for a service I would hope this might be done by the technicians. Also I would suggest that and X-Acto Knife be run around the edges of the vents so that when older vents are removed large pieces of wall and paint do not come with them. Nearly all of my vents now have wall and paint removed around the edges. Overall I am happy with the work done and will call Arizona Air Cleaners when this type of service is needed in the future.
