  • I am a loyal Avis customer and had my secretary book me a car. Upon arrival at the rental car hub in Phoenix we were greeted by a nice lady. She was very pushy regarding purchasing their insurance coverage. After repeatedly informing her that I was covered through my work as well as my personal she dropped the subject. We were given our agreement and sent out to the garage to find our late model Toyota Camry, 1. Filthy, 2. Dents and scratches everywhere, 3. Been in an accident (front passenger side) & 4. Covered in bird poop and I mean COVERED!!!! I went in to possibly exchange my vehicle and was greeted by the "garage staff" and they were not apologetic at all and offered me a smaller car since that's all they had left. I canceled my reservation and asked to not be charged the cancellation fee due to my disappointment. Still waiting to see if this was waived or not. I went to the Avis preferred counter and was (as usual) treated with respect and kindness and drove off in a brand new Ford Fusion!!!!!! Will NEVER rent from Advantage again!!!!!
