  • Keep in mind that this a NEW museum and it is still developing, so bear with them. That said, I am not a Christmas person, yet I was really happy that we went on 1/18/14 to see this place. I can't wait to go back next year! The person who started this really cares about what he is displaying and is preserving a lot of history that will be lost. Saks, Bloomingdales, and HIgbee window displays are here. They plan on expansion and the best part is you get to be Ralphie and go down the same slide! (By the way, if you really want the pic, buy it there at the time. Shipping costs are really high if you go through the site.) I had a ball and you and your kids will too. Since this is in an old church, it is not completely handicap accessible ,but they do have was and other options for that at this time. Also, the hallways are very dark, so they hopefully will put some strip lights down along the floorboards to help with that. Worth the trip, worth the money. Be a kid again and again. See you there1
