  • Our first visit to Midwood ensured that it won't be our last! Guests from out-of-town wanted some "real Carolina BBQ". Since we wanted to show off our lovely city, we went to the Central Ave. location. We could smell how delicious dinner would be from the parking lot! Our server was helpful and friendly and attentive without hovering. Everything we ordered (and the table was groaning, I'm sure) was spot-on! Meats were tender and smoky, sides were all delicious, hush puppies were crunchy and delightful. We all left happily filled up and the one in our party who "was never really crazy about barbecue" is now absolutely converted and anxious to return. Definitely on our list of favorites now!
