The hotel is not the easiest to find. I drove past it like 4 or 5 times before realizing that it was the Double Tree. They don't have a sign, but they do have their logo of two trees in the front. They are nestled in downtown Cleveland next to more of the business buildings and not around where all the other hotels are located. It's a close walk to the Browns Stadium and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They are a little further away from the more "happening" parts of downtown Cleveland; however, they do offer free shuttle bus service to anywhere in downtown.
The rooms are nice with modern dark wood bed panels and furniture. They offer centralized heating and cooling. They also have a manager's reception on the 18th floor overlooking the lake, which was really beautiful. There is also a Starbucks in the lobby (for you coffee fans). The staff was really nice and of course you get a free chocolate chip cookie at check-in. Parking is okay at $16/night. However, do not eat at the Stadium Grille (restaurant inside the hotel). The food is really really bad and is probably the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at.
