| - After reading good reviews about Beloved Lily, we decided to order some flower for my wedding. Our wedding was on 01/25/2016, a few weeks earlier I made an appointment with a florist from Beloved Lily.
I was actually very pleased with the appointment, we went over a few options for my bridal bouquet. It was a small wedding so I did not want anything big. We decided on a bridal bouquet with different kind of flowers and roses (ivory and burgundy mainly), and also a boutonniere for my husband.
She told us that the bouquet would be ready after 12pm on the 25th of January, my parents went there to pick it up around noon that day. When they got there, they were really surprised and disappointed to see the bouquet.
Most of the roses were not fresh, we paid extra for some flowers that came from Amsterdam, we did not see them on the bouquet. The florist that made the bouquet was not at the shop, so my parents had to call her and share with her their disappointment.
After a long talk on the phone, she told them that the bouquet was done the day before (Sunday), and that when she did it the flowers were fresh.
Of course they were fresh! But you never do a bridal bouquet the day before, flowers go bad very quickly. I paid a lot of money for this bouquet, I expect it to be done the day of and especially to have fresh flowers. Also, we asked for specific flowers however she told us that she switched them for other flowers (without even asking us).
Let's not even talk about my husband's boutonniere, the rose was not fresh at all! He did not want to wear it ....
Overall, I was very disappointed!! When I came to the appointment, I was relieved to have found a nice florist, but after everything that happened, we will not come back.
