Top Speeds are not what they say they are... Yea, they will tell you it's your top speed on a straight away and it's approximate... No... it isn't even close.
I drove three 8 minute sessions because I wanted to know what it feels like driving a car over 140 mph.. My certificates say over 140 mph but when I convert the lap times to lap speeds, it doesn't add up... My quickest lap speed was 48.33 seconds on a 1.54 mile track. That's a 114 mph lap.. I had the car on the rev limiter all the way around the track including the corners.. Look, driving the car was great but don't tell people they are hitting "approximate" top speeds of 149 and 158 mph when in reality it's never over 120. "Approximate" does not let you off the hook for adding 35 to 40 mph to your actual speed...
